Prof. Samuel Kwesi Asiedu-Addo is an experienced University lecturer and expert in the teaching and learning of mathematics and mathematics education.
He is a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a PhD degree in Applied Mathematics. He is dedicated to all jobs most especially the teaching and learning of mathematics to students of higher learning. Differential equations, and Mathematics education are his research areas of interest.
His passion for mathematics is par excellent and he is able to use own initiative and works well in a team even under pressure to meet deadlines with set objectives. Prof. Asiedu-Addo is a former National President of the Mathematical Association of Ghana (MAG) and a former National President of the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG).
He has held many top management positions in the University of Education, Winneba including but not limited to Deputy Director, Institute of Educational Research and Innovation, Director, Office of Institutional Advancement, Dean, Faculty of Science Education and Dean, School of Graduate Studies. Under the supervision of Prof. Asiedu-Addo, many students have graduated with PhD and MPhil degrees in mathematics and mathematics education in many universities across the country.

Prof. Asonaba Kofi Addison. Holds MPhil and PhD in Educational Psychology from the Universities of Cape Coast and Lagos respectively.
Supervised and assessed several MPhil and PhD dissertations and theses both locally and externally. Headed a number of departments both in the University and outside the university.
Published several journal articles and books. I serve as the editor of an International Journal in the department of Basic Education @ the University.
Mrs. Esther Yeboah Danso-Wiredu is an associate professor at the Department of Geography Education. She had her Bachelor’s Education in Geography and Resource Development at the University of Ghana, Legon, and obtained her Master of Philosophy in Social Change at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway.
She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education at the University of Education, Winneba. And a PHD in Geography at the Katholieke Universiteit, Leuven (KULeuven). Her Ph.D. research was on the puzzles of living in urban poor communities: The role of informal governance structures in housing provision in Accra and Winneba, Ghana. She has experience in teaching at the university for over 12 years and also working with a number of NGOs within and outside Ghana.
Her research areas: Urban Geography, Urban housing (particularly housing options for the urban poor); Human-Environment Interactions; Gender and development; Landscape/spatial planning and development, and Agriculture and rural development.
